Caxias do Sul booed when Leripe Lifestyle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laerte Figueiredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fausto Ferraz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Bastos in the 15th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Durvalino Penha notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Fausto Ferraz. Fausto Ferraz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When S.E.R. Fausto Ferraz came out of the goal and Alfredo Bastos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fausto Ferraz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Fernandes in the 41st minute of play. Fausto Ferraz made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Alfredo Bastos sent off a good shot on target. Fausto Ferraz came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Leripe Lifestyle's Rodrigo Fernandes. But to his dismay, Rodrigo Fernandes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcel Abreu to strike the kick off in the second half. Alfredo Bastos might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fausto Ferraz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfredo Bastos ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 63rd minute Fedele Cicchinelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Ferraz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 66 minutes of play, Leripe Lifestyle's Rodrigo Fernandes made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fausto Ferraz was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the S.E.R. Caxias do Sul defense, Fedele Cicchinelli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fausto Ferraz. The S.E.R. Caxias do Sul fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fausto Ferraz should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Leripe Lifestyle's zone, Rui da Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kauã Brodel came out of the goal and Rui da Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 81 minutes of play, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Marcel Abreu made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kauã Brodel was left in no man's land by his defense there! There was no doubt that Leripe Lifestyle were the better team. Leripe Lifestyle's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
