Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's goalkeeper Esen Sanal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Black is Back's Ciro Gava got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Lei Feng Yan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benedykt Pankiewicz in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Peter Svanberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 17th minute Ricardinho de Senna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Svanberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Black is Back's Peter Svanberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedykt Pankiewicz in the 19th minute of play. Black is Back's Peter Svanberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Black is Back from getting a goal against them. Gernando Falcão's late challenge caught a Black is Back's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Esen Sanal had in the 29thth minute some difficulties stopping Gugu Goiano's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Peter Svanberg came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Benedykt Pankiewicz. But to his dismay, Benedykt Pankiewicz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After a rather tough play, Black is Back's Carl Eckegren got a free kick in the 35th minute. Peter Svanberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benedykt Pankiewicz in the 36th minute. In the 41st minute, Benedykt Pankiewicz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Esen Sanal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Gava, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Mario Pochekanski was substituted for Benedykt Pankiewicz. The wind increased when Georg Moberg made the kick off in the second half. Georg Moberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Esen Sanal made a huge save. Georg Moberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Esen Sanal made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Ciro Gava sent off a good shot on target. 73 minutes into the game, Ciro Gava cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Esen Sanal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gernando Falcão scored 3-1 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Peter Svanberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Lei Feng Yan put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Peter Svanberg. 83 minutes into the match, Mario Pochekanski notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Black is Back's Peter Svanberg. Peter Svanberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 88 minutes into the match, Mario Pochekanski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Peter Svanberg. Black is Back's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mario Pochekanski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Lei Feng Yan managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's supporters rose to their feet, but Lei Feng Yan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Peter Svanberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
