Spectators: 8053 (Terracing: 6041, Seating: 1852, VIP seats: 160) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Marcel Abreu kicked off to start the match. Tudor Șeimeanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Ferraz having to interfere. In the 6th match minute, The Huns was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilian Dobre to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute of the match Dagoberto Esteves sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Martin Pânzaru skillfully saved the ball. Martin Mustățea's late challenge caught a S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Martin Mustățea helped the player get up and apologised. Martin Mustățea hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After 19 played minutes The Huns got a freekick which was hit by Nichifor Jder. 30 minutes into the game, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Rui da Costa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Martin Pânzaru made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After 32 minutes, Sorin Buciuman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Huns and the S.E.R. Caxias do Sul players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sorin Buciuman kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Martin Pânzaru made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Marcel Abreu sent off a good shot on target. The Huns's Călin Oltean got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 44 minutes into the match, Tudor Șeimeanu notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Fausto Ferraz. Fausto Ferraz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The Huns's Felix Musta got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dagoberto Esteves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Martin Mustățea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to The Huns getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Sorin Buciuman hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's zone, Tudor Șeimeanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fausto Ferraz came out of the goal and Tudor Șeimeanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 73 minutes into the game, when Emilian Dobre put in a rough tackle. 73 minutes into the game, one of The Huns:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Martin Pânzaru had in the 75thth minute some difficulties stopping Dagoberto Esteves's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Felix Musta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Fausto Ferraz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claudiu Geantă recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tudor Șeimeanu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fausto Ferraz came out and tried to block the shot, but Tudor Șeimeanu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 83rd minute. After having played for 91 minutes, Claudiu Geantă managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Huns's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudiu Geantă was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Tudor Șeimeanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute, Tudor Șeimeanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Claudiu Geantă who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 96thth minute tested the skills of Fausto Ferraz when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
