Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Oliver Bierhoff took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliver Bierhoff in the 3rd minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Calixto Inchaurdi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oliver Bierhoff blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Calixto Inchaurdi having to make a save. Peru's Calixto Inchaurdi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliver Bierhoff in the 6th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Blasi Asas in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jeremias Moreno saved ADM Taquaras from getting behind. 16 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Oliver Bierhoff came free, but Calixto Inchaurdi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Blasi Asas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jeremias Moreno. ADM Taquaras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Blasi Asas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. ADM Taquaras's Jeremias Moreno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blasi Asas in the 24th minute of play. Calixto Inchaurdi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliver Bierhoff, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the game, Peru's Blasi Asas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jeremias Moreno made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 31 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Áron Bódog came free, but Calixto Inchaurdi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeremias Moreno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blasi Asas, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Calixto Inchaurdi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliver Bierhoff, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Albert Camus in the 37th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Blasi Asas got free with Jeremias Moreno in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Calixto Inchaurdi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliver Bierhoff in the 46th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Blasi Asas made a kick off. Jeremias Moreno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Camus in the 56th minute of play. After having played for 59 minutes, Nildo Rosa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ADM Taquaras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nildo Rosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dale Dolar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peru made a substitution. Jorrin Briones replaced Dale Dolar. Peru made a substitution. Claude Pradias replaced Blasi Asas. After a rather tough play, ADM Taquaras's Miki Moco got a free kick in the 65th minute. After 66 played minutes ADM Taquaras got a freekick which was hit by Miki Moco. Albert Camus took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 67th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jeremias Moreno. ADM Taquaras's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Calixto Inchaurdi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enio Aparecido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jorrin Briones's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jeremias Moreno read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Calixto Inchaurdi acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 86th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Tales De Mileto.
