The audience thought a goal was coming when Oliver Bierhoff got free with João Carlos Andrade in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Krakaca Neto in the 8th minute of play forced ADM Taquaras's goalkeeper Jeremias Moreno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute, Arkın Öğüç left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Futuros FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Jeremias Moreno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Krakaca Neto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a left leg Jeremias Moreno saved ADM Taquaras from getting behind. The Futuros FC fans' excitement grew in the 95th match minute when Futuros FC's Mai Xun Kang looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Futuros FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
