Ionel Dărmănescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gavril Otețea having to interfere. If Valeriu Eremia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ionel Dărmănescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ionel Dărmănescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and David Crușeveanu made a kick off. Marin Mareș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Crușeveanu in the 55th minute of play. Gavril Otețea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ionel Dărmănescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 66 minutes, Ionel Dărmănescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marafet FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ionel Dărmănescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Valeriu Eremia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gavril Otețea having to interfere. In the 71st minute Valeriu Eremia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavril Otețea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Masterand Team's goal looked a bit too open when Valeriu Eremia came free, but Gavril Otețea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Marafet FC's zone, Sergiu Blăniță stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marin Mareș came out of the goal and Sergiu Blăniță tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Crușeveanu in the 85th minute of play forced Marafet FC's goalkeeper Marin Mareș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ionel Dărmănescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gavril Otețea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ionel Dărmănescu ran back to his position shaking his head. Masterand Team's Gavril Otețea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valeriu Eremia in the 94th minute of play. Valeriu Eremia struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Gavril Otețea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marafet FC.
