Seating: 2384, VIP seats: 207) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Augusto Mota kicked off to start the match. 6 minutes into the game, Ratan Ayala threw the ball into play from the sideline. U21 Brazil's Tim Raba quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Ratan Ayala made in the 7th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by James Watt. In the 7th minute, Cauan Freire got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gaston Indalecio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Júlio da Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, U21 Brazil's goal looked a bit too open when Dario Leonardo came free, but Júlio da Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of U21 Brazil booed when U21 Argentina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesar Rumaldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teobaldo Macias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Mota, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. The corner led U21 Brazil's Tim Raba to fire away a dangerous shot which Teobaldo Macias despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. U21 Brazil's Júlio da Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dario Leonardo in the 22nd minute of play. Ratan Ayala's late challenge caught a U21 Brazil's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ratan Ayala helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, U21 Argentina's Ratan Ayala got a free kick in the 24th minute.
