Christopher McGrime made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leszek Piwowarski in the 17th minute of play. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Scotland's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ludomil Sanocki was slow to take the kick. During this time Poland's players had a chance to rest. After a defensive mix-up in Scotland's zone, Leszek Piwowarski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christopher McGrime came out of the goal and Leszek Piwowarski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leszek Piwowarski might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Christopher McGrime. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christopher McGrime took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leszek Piwowarski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nathan McNeilly made a kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Leszek Piwowarski notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Scotland's Christopher McGrime. Christopher McGrime was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Leszek Piwowarski struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Christopher McGrime didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Poland. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Nathan McNeilly managed to get in a good position for a shot. Scotland's supporters rose to their feet, but Nathan McNeilly was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tobiasz Czermak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 74 minutes into the game, Poland's Leszek Piwowarski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christopher McGrime made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. 79 minutes into the match, Scotland's goal looked a bit too open when Cyryl Kaczeniak came free, but Christopher McGrime reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Cyryl Kaczeniak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christopher McGrime was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. 85 minutes into the match, Hugh Ruskin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tobiasz Czermak, 4-1. Christopher McGrime dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. In the 91st minute Cyryl Kaczeniak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christopher McGrime saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led Poland's Ludomil Sanocki to fire away a dangerous shot which Christopher McGrime despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 97th minute Nathan McNeilly shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobiasz Czermak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Poland's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
