Seating: 2372, VIP seats: 206) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ray Williams got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Lebanon's Hakim Alhusain nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Michael Carmichael made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Amer Mumtaz put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Michael Carmichael. In the 14th minute Amer Mumtaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Carmichael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amer Mumtaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Trinidad & Tobago's Michael Carmichael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hakim Alhusain in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute of the match Lebanon got a corner. Trinidad & Tobago's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Amer Mumtaz ran over to the corner to take the kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amer Mumtaz in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michael Carmichael prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 32nd minute Amer Mumtaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Carmichael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Andre Walker could shoot a difficult shot in the 33rd minute, which Hussein Rashid however easily saved by the left post. Andre Walker made a great header on Trinidad & Tobago's corner, it was just that Lebanon's Hussein Rashid managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 41st minute Amer Mumtaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Carmichael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hakim Alhusain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Danny Andrews's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hussein Rashid was relentless in the 45th minute of the game.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amer Mumtaz made a kick off. Lebanon's Hussein Rashid played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ray Williams in the 52nd minute of play. Michael Carmichael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amer Mumtaz in the 53rd minute of play. Amer Mumtaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Carmichael having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andre Walker in the 59th minute of play forced Lebanon's goalkeeper Hussein Rashid to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hakim Alhusain kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Trinidad & Tobago made a substitution. Gillian Abraham replaced Danny Andrews. The supporters of Trinidad & Tobago booed when Lebanon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hakim Alhusain didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hakim Alhusain in the 67thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Michael Carmichael, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 70 minutes into the match, Lebanon's goal looked a bit too open when Gillian Abraham came free, but Hussein Rashid reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Trinidad & Tobago's goalkeeper Michael Carmichael had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nazmi Al Asad. In the 77th minute of the match Lebanon got a corner. Trinidad & Tobago's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Amer Mumtaz ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Ronaldinho Januzaj heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Hakim Alhusain took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Michael Carmichael to make any attempt to save it. 89 minutes into the game, Amer Mumtaz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Michael Carmichael was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Trinidad & Tobago fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lebanon were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
