Indonesia's Romi Lisandri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristof Huisingh in the 13th minute of play. Corné Heida made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Gilbert Birowo sent off a good shot on target. Corné Heida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hadiman Habib in the 16th minute of play. Hadiman Habib fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corné Heida having to interfere. Indonesia's Romi Lisandri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristof Huisingh in the 22nd minute of play. In the 37th minute, Michael Teesing left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Niels-Jan Fransen kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Corné Heida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hadiman Habib in the 41st minute of the match. Gilbert Birowo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 43rdth minute, Corné Heida skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Haris Sutowo hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Romi Lisandri was a little too slow when Michael Teesing got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 1-2. Karel Daniels might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Romi Lisandri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karel Daniels ran back to his position shaking his head. After taking down the ball on Netherlands's corner Fabian Halen fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Romi Lisandri quite easily take care of the ball. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Indonesia's goalkeeper Romi Lisandri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Netherlands's Huub Dijkman was substituted for Kristof Huisingh. Netherlands's Jhon Sloothaak was substituted for Niels-Jan Fransen. 75 minutes into the match, Indonesia's goalkeeper Romi Lisandri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Michael Teesing. The corner led Netherlands's Fabian Halen to fire away a dangerous shot which Romi Lisandri despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Putut Oddang kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Gilbert Birowo scored 2-4 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Corné Heida, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Netherlands's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
