Dominic Billington showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matt Damon, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Lance Hampshire hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the match, U21 Jordan's goal looked a bit too open when Matt Damon came free, but Dominic Billington reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 14 played minutes U21 Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Zsolt Kossuth. Fábián Tunyogi was extremely unlucky when he, in the 30th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matt Damon in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dominic Billington saved U21 Jordan from getting behind. The supporters of U21 Hungary booed when U21 Jordan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Den Butterfield didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matt Damon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Lance Hampshire managed to get in a good position for a shot. U21 Jordan's supporters rose to their feet, but Lance Hampshire was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zsolt Soós breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 45 minutes into the match, U21 Jordan's goal looked a bit too open when Fábián Tunyogi came free, but Dominic Billington reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 47 minutes had been played when some careless play by U21 Jordan's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gábor Fülöp was slow to take the kick. During this time U21 Hungary's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Gábor Fülöp got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dominic Billington quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Dominic Billington took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fábián Tunyogi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by U21 Jordan's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gábor Fülöp was slow to take the kick. During this time U21 Hungary's players had a chance to rest. Denny Deakin thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Dominic Billington, a very annoying self made goal in the 54th minute which led to 2-0. 57 minutes into the match, U21 Jordan's goal looked a bit too open when Ferenc Baróti came free, but Dominic Billington reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute Matt Damon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dominic Billington saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, U21 Jordan's goal looked a bit too open when Michel Platini came free, but Dominic Billington reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. U21 Jordan's Dominic Billington played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matt Damon in the 67th minute of play. In the 71st match minute, U21 Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zoltán Novák to maneuver through the defense. Caleb Jowsey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zsolt Soós having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matt Damon in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dominic Billington saved U21 Jordan from getting behind. If Michel Platini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pál Sipos hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. When U21 Hungary's Matt Damon in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye U21 Jordan's goalie prevented a goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. U21 Hungary fully deserved thier win.
