Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ahto Valin got the match started through his kick off. After having played for 7 minutes, William Sandbæk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. U21 Norway's supporters crossed their fingers, but William Sandbæk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. U21 Norway's Mathias Haarr was substituted for Ferdinand Bakkejord. An unexpectedly hard shot by Konsta Kalto in the 10th minute of play forced U21 Norway's goalkeeper Jonathan Lundal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henrik Kaland charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Henrik Kaland the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 17 played minutes U21 Norway got a freekick which was hit by Henrik Kaland. Jeremias Wallenius came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by U21 Norway's William Sandbæk. But to his dismay, William Sandbæk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. William Sandbæk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jeremias Wallenius having to make a save. With a little luck, U21 Norway's Jonathan Lundal got control of the ball when Ahto Valin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jeremias Wallenius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathias Haarr, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 37 minutes of play, U21 Norway's Mathias Haarr made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jeremias Wallenius was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jeremias Wallenius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from William Sandbæk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes into the match, William Sandbæk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jeremias Wallenius. U21 Finland's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that William Sandbæk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. In the 48th match minute, U21 Finland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Jämsänen to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when William Sandbæk stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Tom Brady managed to get in a good position for a shot. U21 Norway's supporters rose to their feet, but Tom Brady was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeremias Wallenius breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 67th minute, Henrik Kaland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th minute, William Sandbæk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 71 minutes into the match, William Sandbæk dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jeremias Wallenius, 0-5. U21 Finland made a substitution. Ilmari Vento replaced Gabriel Jämsänen. Ahvo Virtanen made in the 75th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by U21 Norway's Ole-Kristian Selnæs. 79 minutes into the match, William Sandbæk dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jeremias Wallenius, 0-6. The crowd rose to their feet as William Sandbæk kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jeremias Wallenius. That made the score 0-7 in the 82 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as U21 Norway's William Sandbæk slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jeremias Wallenius. That made the score 0-8 after 85 minutes of play. Tom Brady received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Jeremias Wallenius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Konsta Kalto in the 96th minute of play forced U21 Norway's goalkeeper Jonathan Lundal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 97 in the game by William Sandbæk from a close distance when the talented Jeremias Wallenius managed to make a qualified save. U21 Finland's players were relieved. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. U21 Norway had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
