Denmark's Oberst-Wilhelm von Gyldenfeldt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ale Ba in the 29th minute of play. Ivan Tomko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reinar Stegger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the match, Denmark's Reinar Stegger sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ivan Tomko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Reinar Stegger might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ivan Tomko. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Reinar Stegger ran back to his position shaking his head. Nigel Harreby hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Denmark's Oberst-Wilhelm von Gyldenfeldt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ale Ba in the 46th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Reinar Stegger notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Slovakia's Ivan Tomko. Ivan Tomko was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

Slovakia's Ivan Tomko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Slovakia from getting a goal against them. Rene Mossov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Ivan Tomko made a huge save. Denmark's Denis Kohlwes was substituted for Oskar Gai. Ivan Tomko made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Rene Mossov sent off a good shot on target. In the 87th minute of the match Slovakia got a corner. Denmark's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ale Ba ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Ale Ba almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Denmark's Oberst-Wilhelm von Gyldenfeldt did a great save. Karl Duby scored 0-2 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ivan Tomko, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Denmark's Rene Mossov slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ivan Tomko. That made the score 0-3 after 97 minutes of play. Denmark played a much better game than Slovakia and deserved their victory. The Slovakia players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
