In the 3rd minute Ahto Valin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Wist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. U21 Norway's Sebastian Wist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahto Valin in the 3rd minute of play. U21 Finland were awarded a corner in the 4th minute after U21 Norway's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Armas Enola took the corner. 8 minutes into the match, U21 Finland's goal looked a bit too open when William Sandbæk came free, but Johannes Korhonen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Johannes Korhonen was a little too slow when Inge Gomes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 1-0. When U21 Norway's William Sandbæk in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 25th minute, Kaleva Tuomisaari hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute, William Sandbæk sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and U21 Finland's Johannes Korhonen didn't even have to move. Johannes Korhonen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from William Sandbæk, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 32nd minute, William Sandbæk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The U21 Norway fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Johannes Korhonen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from William Sandbæk, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell William Sandbæk to make the kick off. William Sandbæk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Johannes Korhonen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Armando in the 84th minute of play. Johannes Korhonen didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when U21 Norway's William Sandbæk shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 6-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Joni Lönnblad could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Sebastian Wist made a huge save. Jonathan Tømmervik kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. U21 Norway were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
