Babe Costello stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silver Koba's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. In the 17th minute, Silver Koba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Babe Costello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silver Koba in the 17th minute of the match. Brenn Sheridan kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Silver Koba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. U21 Ireland's Babe Costello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Hallik in the 23rd minute of play. When U21 Estonia's Edgar Hallik in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye U21 Ireland's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgar Hallik in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Babe Costello saved U21 Ireland from getting behind. After some careless play in the U21 Ireland defense, Edgar Hallik kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Babe Costello. The U21 Ireland fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Babe Costello should have stopped the shot. Aare Ott made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Irving Mulvihill in the 30th minute of play. Davie Costello charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Davie Costello the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, U21 Ireland's Davie Costello got a free kick in the 31st minute. The supporters of U21 Ireland booed when U21 Estonia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urmo Niidumaa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Irving Mulvihill kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 39th minute Silver Koba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Babe Costello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to U21 Ireland getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Irving Mulvihill hit a great ball. U21 Estonia's Janari Reinumägi quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Davie Costello, made in the 45th minute of the game. Babe Costello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Hallik in the 46th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silver Koba made a kick off. Silver Koba in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Babe Costello, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 57 played minutes U21 Estonia got a freekick which was hit by Silver Koba. U21 Ireland's Barhan Gallagher was substituted for Grzegorz Gorski. A collision led to U21 Estonia getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Silver Koba hit a great ball. U21 Estonia made a substitution. Janar Lame replaced Sergo Vanaots. U21 Ireland made a substitution. Bree Keegan replaced Davie Costello. 69 minutes into the match, U21 Estonia's goal looked a bit too open when Breas Callaghan came free, but Aare Ott reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Babe Costello came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by U21 Estonia's Edgar Hallik. But to his dismay, Edgar Hallik quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Edgar Hallik might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Babe Costello. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edgar Hallik ran back to his position shaking his head. A hard shot 78 in the game by Edgar Hallik from a close distance when the talented Babe Costello managed to make a qualified save. U21 Ireland's players were relieved. Edgar Halliks short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Babe Costello to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 80th minute, Edgar Hallik ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Babe Costello was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Babe Costello was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Laur Näkk showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 88 minute of play. Babe Costello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laur Näkk in the 94th minute of play.
