U21 Cyprus's supporters rose to their feet, but Alkeides Chrysanthopoulos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. György Gácsi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Flórián Sinkovits sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The wind increased when Márton Zsinka made the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play, U21 Hungary's Flórián Sinkovits made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nestoras Karnoupakis was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 56th play minutes Márton Zsinka shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Nestoras Karnoupakis and just under the crossbar into goal. U21 Cyprus were furious when Omiros Yfantis was red carded, 60 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in U21 Cyprus fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 60th minute. Penalty! Nestoras Karnoupakis had in the 61stth minute some difficulties stopping Márton Zsinka's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball Márton Zsinka took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nestoras Karnoupakis. In the 84th minute, U21 Hungary's Kálmán Vásárhelyi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. Alkeides Chrysanthopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nestoras Karnoupakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bulcsú Koós in the 93rd minute of play. Flórián Sinkovits struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Nestoras Karnoupakis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for U21 Hungary. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. U21 Hungary walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
