Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Weena Natie kicked off to start the match. Colombia's Ekhi Tamaron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Weena Natie in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chile's goalkeeper Honorato Pardow, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Chile's Honorato Pardow played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Txanton Pabon in the 9th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Txanton Pabon came free, but Honorato Pardow reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Colombia's Ekhi Tamaron proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. In the 15th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Burgos to maneuver through the defense. Javier Andueza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Ekhi Tamaron made a huge save. Sebastian Rozental sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ekhi Tamaron was a little too slow when Javier Andueza got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 24th minute, Alfredo Melivilu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Chile booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Locaio Butron didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ekhi Tamaron took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Rozental, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute Txanton Pabon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorato Pardow saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfredo Melivilu hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute Edward Benjam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorato Pardow saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
The wind increased when Edward Benjam made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Locaio Butron hit a great ball. 54 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Melivilu came free, but Ekhi Tamaron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Txanton Pabon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Honorato Pardow made a huge save. Edward Benjam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorato Pardow having to interfere. The Chile fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when Chile's Javier Andueza looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Colombia's Merexildo Arnaez was substituted for Patricio Burgos. Colombia made a substitution. Hibai Archuleta replaced Edward Benjam. The audience thought a goal was coming when Txanton Pabon got free with Honorato Pardow in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 68th minute, Alfredo Melivilu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chile fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Colombia's Xose Palacio was substituted for Andrés Aponte. Honorato Pardow made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Txanton Pabon sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hibai Archuleta in the 78th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Honorato Pardow to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute Sebastian Rozental shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ekhi Tamaron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chile's Víctor Javier Inzunza was substituted for Sebastian Rozental. Chile made a substitution. Aaron Larraín replaced Javier Andueza. A nice corner shot did that Alfredo Melivilu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ekhi Tamaron quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Daavid Luis thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Ekhi Tamaron, a very annoying self made goal in the 83rd minute which led to 4-0. Honorato Pardow was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hibai Archuleta showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-1 in the 86 minute of play. Ekhi Tamaron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Víctor Javier Inzunza, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Txanton Pabon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Alfredo Melivilu fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chile's protests and gave Alfredo Melivilu a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Chile's Alfredo Melivilu got a free kick in the 93rd minute.
