Poland's Tobiasz Hetman started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aleksander Lukasik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julius Bürgler in the 6th minute of the match. 7 minutes into the match, Poland's goal looked a bit too open when Julius Bürgler came free, but Aleksander Lukasik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Switzerland's Lukas Wüst got control of the ball when Leon Dudek tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leszek Filipowski hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. A sloppy throw-in by Teobaldo Barbey in the 11th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Poland's Leszek Filipowski. If Tobiasz Hetman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lukas Wüst made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobiasz Hetman in the 13th minute of play. After 17 minutes Switzerland's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Roch Madej who took care of the corner kick. If Julius Bürgler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aleksander Lukasik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julius Bürgler, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute Leon Dudek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lukas Wüst saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute Cyrill Giacomini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aleksander Lukasik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teobaldo Barbey's late challenge caught a Poland's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teobaldo Barbey helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Switzerland getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Teobaldo Barbey hit a great ball. Lukas Wüst made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Dudek in the 37th minute of play. Poland's attentive Leszek Filipowski managed to snatch the ball when Teobaldo Barbey made a throw-in in the 39th minute of the game. Tobiasz Hetman received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lukas Wüst came out and tried to block the shot, but Tobiasz Hetman slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 48th minute. Poland's Cyryl Kaczeniak was substituted for Tobiasz Hetman. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Switzerland made a substitution. Cooper Frischkopf replaced Yvan Egger. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cyrill Giacomini stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Aleksander Lukasik made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julius Bürgler in the 56th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cyryl Kaczeniak in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lukas Wüst prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Switzerland's goalkeeper Lukas Wüst, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lukas Wüst showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cyryl Kaczeniak in the 84th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, Poland's goal looked a bit too open when Cyrill Giacomini came free, but Aleksander Lukasik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
