When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Ricardinho Jacinto put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Dawood Mandane. 14 minutes into the game, Yasen Hayat was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. U21 Saudi Arabia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave U21 Brazil the free kick. U21 Saudi Arabia's Dawood Mandane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Fabbri in the 22nd minute of play. Dawood Mandane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardinho Jacinto in the 24th minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Msaed Baroun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dawood Mandane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardinho Jacinto in the 28th minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Ricardinho Jacinto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dawood Mandane. U21 Saudi Arabia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ricardinho Jacinto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. After 42 played minutes U21 Saudi Arabia got a freekick which was hit by Sobah Hayat. Ricardinho Jacinto scored 1-5 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dawood Mandane, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Víktor Soares stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play U21 Saudi Arabia's Yasen Hayat was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Yasen Hayat kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Dawood Mandane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allan Pitta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute Abdulatif Al Mehana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Santana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dawood Mandane didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Víktor Soares went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-8 was the resulting score. U21 Saudi Arabia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 74th minute, when Allan Pitta scored to the left of an out of position Dawood Mandane, making the score, 1-9. In the 77th match minute, U21 Saudi Arabia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Msaed Baroun to maneuver through the defense. After 78 played minutes U21 Saudi Arabia got a freekick which was hit by Adnan Al Najdi. After having played for 80 minutes, Allan Pitta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. U21 Brazil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Allan Pitta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Felipe Fabbri kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dawood Mandane. That made the score 1-10 in the 86 minute of play. A collision led to U21 Brazil getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Valério Hames hit a great ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. U21 Brazil had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
