Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) Luan Schmidt made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the match, Felipe Fabbri notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of U21 Colombia's Fortunato Baeza. Fortunato Baeza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 11th match minute, U21 Brazil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elano dos Santos to maneuver through the defense. Fortunato Baeza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulinho D'Alessandro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xuoco Bardon struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Cristiano Santana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for U21 Colombia. When U21 Brazil's Luan Schmidt in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye U21 Colombia's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Luan Schmidt put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Fortunato Baeza. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 46 minutes into the match, Luan Schmidt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fortunato Baeza. U21 Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luan Schmidt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tercero Pandal was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rios Molleda in the 55th minute of play forced U21 Brazil's goalkeeper Cristiano Santana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, U21 Colombia's Fortunato Baeza got control of the ball when Paulinho D'Alessandro tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 85 minutes, Eufrasio Abraldez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the U21 Colombia and the U21 Brazil players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fortunato Baeza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardinho Jacinto, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. U21 Colombia's Fortunato Baeza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardinho Jacinto in the 95th minute of play. Cristiano Santana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matthew Mattei, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The U21 Brazil players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
