Seating: 236, VIP seats: 20) Singapore's Albert Ee started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Pires in the 4th minute of play forced Singapore's goalkeeper Zak Lam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Robert Pires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When China's Robert Pires in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Singapore's goalie prevented a goal. Albert Ee took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 徐鸿笑. 徐鸿笑 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robert Pires in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zak Lam prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zak Lam didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wu Bin Shi went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Robert Pires did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Zak Lam 26 minutes into the match. Zak Lam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Pires in the 30th minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Šućo Okaemov got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zak Lam quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 35 minutes into the match, China's goal looked a bit too open when Albert Ee came free, but 徐鸿笑 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 徐鸿笑 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Ee, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. A hard shot 38 in the game by Robert Pires from a close distance when the talented Zak Lam managed to make a qualified save. Singapore's players were relieved. Zak Lam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wu Bin Shi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robert Pires in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zak Lam saved Singapore from getting behind. Robert Pires struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Zak Lam didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for China. Zak Lam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Pires, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After 56 minutes Singapore's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Šućo Okaemov who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Šućo Okaemov almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Singapore's Zak Lam did a great save. China's 徐鸿笑 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save China from getting a goal against them. Zak Lam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 何泉笑 in the 59th minute of play. The supporters of China booed when Singapore was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anil Liang didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alex Wang during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Singapore getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Alex Wang hit a great ball. Singapore's Jithu Tan was substituted for Alex Wang. The supporters of China booed when Singapore was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Wang didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute Wu Bin Shi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zak Lam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 69 minutes Singapore's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Šućo Okaemov who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Šućo Okaemov got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zak Lam quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Robert Pires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 73rdth minute of the game Robert Pires who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Singapore's Zak Lam was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Singapore's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Pires came free, but Zak Lam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Robert Pires's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zak Lam was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. 徐鸿笑 made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Fariz Liang sent off a good shot on target. 79 minutes into the game, Anil Liang was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Singapore's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave China the free kick. In the 79th minute, Anil Liang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. China made a substitution. 蒋桑青 replaced Šućo Okaemov. Singapore's Amir Lam was substituted for Anil Liang. A collision led to Singapore getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Anil Liang hit a great ball. Zak Lam didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 蔡镇磊 went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. If Wei Xuan Abdul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 何泉笑 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zak Lam having to interfere. Zak Lam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wu Bin Shi, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Zak Lam didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wu Bin Shi went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. China were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Singapore for a fine match.
