Seating: 2384, VIP seats: 207) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Damian Brown got the match started through his kick off. Kojiro Hyuga hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. After having played for 5 minutes, Rogelio Quintun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. U21 Argentina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rogelio Quintun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as U21 Argentina's Gualterio Perrando slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jay Titmuss. That made the score 1-0 after 8 minutes of play. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Gualterio Perrando sped through U21 Luxembourg's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jay Titmuss. Harvey Emberson was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 18 minutes into the match. After 26 minutes of play, U21 Argentina's Gualterio Perrando made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jay Titmuss was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gualterio Perrando's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jay Titmuss read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. After having played for 39 minutes, Gualterio Perrando managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. U21 Argentina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gualterio Perrando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Gualterio Perrando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jay Titmuss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualterio Perrando in the 42nd minute of play. When the match clock showed 46 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Gualterio Perrando sped through U21 Luxembourg's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jay Titmuss. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.
Gualterio Perrando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jay Titmuss having to interfere. After 55 minutes of play, U21 Argentina's Artemio Celio made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jay Titmuss was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gualterio Perrando might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jay Titmuss. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gualterio Perrando ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gualterio Perrando in the 59th minute of play forced U21 Luxembourg's goalkeeper Jay Titmuss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. U21 Argentina's Clemente Botello was substituted for Gualterio Perrando. Jay Titmuss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artemio Celio in the 72nd minute of play. Clemente Botello struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Jay Titmuss didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for U21 Argentina. 78 minutes into the match, U21 Luxembourg's goal looked a bit too open when Clemente Botello came free, but Jay Titmuss reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Clemente Botello had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jay Titmuss. U21 Luxembourg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Clemente Botello was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. Clemente Botello blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jay Titmuss having to make a save. Jay Titmuss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemente Botello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jay Titmuss didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Clemente Botello went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 11-0 was the resulting score. Jay Titmuss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemente Botello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. U21 Argentina walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
