Spectators: 10300 (Terracing: 7725, Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Son Rosa took the kick off in the first half of the match. Canada's Omer Norman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Canada from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Canada booed when England was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeff Crane didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Son Rosa in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rod Fairbank saved England from getting behind. Émile Zola could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Omer Norman made a huge save. 11 minutes into the match, Canada's goalkeeper Omer Norman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joe Starr. The audience was convinced that Dominik Marenghi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Omer Norman was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Omer Norman came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by England's Dominik Marenghi. But to his dismay, Dominik Marenghi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 18 minutes into the match, Canada's goalkeeper Omer Norman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Émile Zola. England's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Émile Zola in the 19th minute. Omer Norman made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Émile Zola sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 24 minutes, Son Rosa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Son Rosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Omer Norman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dominik Marenghi's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Dominik Marenghi had several of the Canada's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 31 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Omer Norman as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Dominik Marenghi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rod Fairbank came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Canada's Son Rosa. But to his dismay, Son Rosa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Rod Fairbank showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Son Rosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 45th minute, one of Canada:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Canada. In the 46th minute of the game, England got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dominik Marenghi was the one to do the kick off. 63 minutes into the match, Dominik Marenghi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Omer Norman. Canada's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dominik Marenghi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. After a rather tough play, Canada's Isaiah Castillo got a free kick in the 65th minute. 70 minutes into the game, Canada's Son Rosa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rod Fairbank made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-2. England's Stevie Burton was substituted for Vinnie Elliott. England's Brian Sheppard was substituted for Dominik Marenghi. In the 78th minute, Fitz Fordham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Omer Norman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Émile Zola, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Omer Norman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brian Sheppard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 88 minutes, Brian Sheppard made it 7-2 with a short kick to the right side. Canada's Omer Norman tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 94 minutes into the match, Canada's goal looked a bit too open when Brian Sheppard came free, but Omer Norman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Son Rosa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rod Fairbank read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. England had won after a very even match.
