In the 72ndth minute of the game Adinatha Khandelwal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U21 Sweden's Staffan Nykvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Sten Lustig notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of U21 India's Adyasarana Rao. Adyasarana Rao was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. U21 Sweden's Staffan Nykvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Avijita Kadam in the 81st minute of play. Haliksana Pinto made in the 86th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Arthadarsin Mahal. In the 89th minute, U21 Sweden's Sten Lustig ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Adyasarana Rao. Adyasarana Rao yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. The corner ended in Sten Lustig almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but U21 India's Adyasarana Rao did a great save. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. U21 Sweden walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
