Dominik Jensen scored 0-2 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vilmantas Zuoza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The wind increased when Pascal Hemmerich made the kick off in the second half. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Lithuania fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Austria were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
