Ratzik Vaknin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Guerreiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute Alex Miguel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ratzik Vaknin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Portugal's Diamantino Amaro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Portugal from getting a goal against them. Alex Miguel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ratzik Vaknin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Miguel in the 31st minute of play. In the 35thth minute of the game Alex Miguel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Israel's Ratzik Vaknin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 39thth minute of the game Shabtay Miman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Portugal's Diamantino Amaro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If João Guerreiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 54 minutes into the match, Israel's goalkeeper Ratzik Vaknin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alex Miguel. In the 57th match minute, Israel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Davidi Pik to maneuver through the defense. Diamantino Amaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shabtay Miman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute, Shabtay Miman made a precise shot to the right of Diamantino Amaro. Portugal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Ratzik Vaknin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alex Miguel's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Alex Miguel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Portugal made a substitution. Jorge Mota replaced João Guerreiro. After 73 played minutes Israel got a freekick which was hit by Yehoram Shnieor. Ratzik Vaknin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Heitor Matos in the 75th minute. In the 77thth minute of the game Jorge Mota who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Israel's Ratzik Vaknin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ratzik Vaknin made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Heitor Matos sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Israel booed when Portugal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Sá didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Davidi Pik notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Portugal's Diamantino Amaro. Diamantino Amaro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ratzik Vaknin made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Heitor Matos sent off a good shot on target. After 94 played minutes Israel got a freekick which was hit by Tal Or-Hozer. In the 95th minute of the match Nuno Anjos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ratzik Vaknin skillfully saved the ball.
