After a rather tough play, Laziali's Rostislav Filchovski got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Laziali's goalkeeper Delyan Súrnev, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of SV Balverliefd booed when Laziali was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dani Gerov didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute of the match Laziali got a corner. SV Balverliefd's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Darin Gladichev ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Laziali's corner Velichko Shindarov fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Yorrick Zoethout quite easily take care of the ball. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Velichko Shindarov sped through SV Balverliefd's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Yorrick Zoethout. Delyan Súrnev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steven Homan in the 25th minute of the match. Yorrick Zoethout made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Rix in the 27th minute of play. In the 35th minute, Philippe-Arnaud Van Cleijnenbreugel made a precise shot to the right of Delyan Súrnev. Laziali's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Darin Gladichev sped through SV Balverliefd's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Yorrick Zoethout. After a defensive mix-up in Laziali's zone, Steven Homan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Delyan Súrnev came out of the goal and Steven Homan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Laziali getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Rostislav Filchovski hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Thomas Rix made a kick off. Virgil Lindelöf did an outstanding performance 54 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 2-2 to the right of an irritated Delyan Súrnev in the goal. Kosta Kúnov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 66th match minute, Laziali was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Veliko Stefchov to maneuver through the defense. Laziali made a substitution. Ramiro da Silva replaced Darin Gladichev. Veliko Stefchov kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Delyan Súrnev came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by SV Balverliefd's Steven Homan. But to his dismay, Steven Homan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Steven Homan might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Delyan Súrnev. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Steven Homan ran back to his position shaking his head. Delyan Súrnev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steven Homan in the 76th minute of the match. Delyan Súrnev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steven Homan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 77 minutes into the game, Philippe-Arnaud Van Cleijnenbreugel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Delyan Súrnev was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 80 minutes into the match, Steven Homan notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of Laziali's Delyan Súrnev. Delyan Súrnev was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Steven Homan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Delyan Súrnev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steven Homan, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Delyan Súrnev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steven Homan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melker Gudmundsson in the 91st minute of play forced Laziali's goalkeeper Delyan Súrnev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the SV Balverliefd players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
