In the 3rd minute, Brion Retana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tang Xi Zhen, 4 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Rui Avelar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Petrigai Guau kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. If King Elin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 13 minutes into the match, Olympique Salonais's goal looked a bit too open when Radoslaw Zagrodny came free, but Raymond Foubert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, BRUGGE FC's Shi Guo Wen got control of the ball when Tang Xi Zhen tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 16 minutes, Radoslaw Zagrodny made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Olympique Salonais's Raymond Foubert tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Raymond Foubert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rui Avelar in the 19th minute of play. In the 24th minute Radoslaw Zagrodny shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raymond Foubert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olympique Salonais's Raymond Foubert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Helder Cadanes in the 26th minute of play. Shi Guo Wen was a little too slow when Song Peng Xi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 1-1. Olympique Salonais's Raymond Foubert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rui Avelar in the 44th minute of play. Tang Xi Zhen hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. A collision led to Olympique Salonais getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Romain Blet hit a great ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rui Avelar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, 蒋誉朋 was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BRUGGE FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Olympique Salonais the free kick. 蒋誉朋 hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Shi Guo Wen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Song Peng Xi in the 59th minute of the match. Olympique Salonais's Hilario Chale was substituted for Hector Etxepare. After a rather tough play, Olympique Salonais's Zheng Liang Song got a free kick in the 67th minute. Olympique Salonais's Eduardo Cossa was substituted for King Elin. After 68 played minutes Olympique Salonais got a freekick which was hit by Zheng Liang Song. After 76 minutes of play, Olympique Salonais's Hilario Chale made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Shi Guo Wen was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 78th minute Song Peng Xi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shi Guo Wen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raymond Foubert made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rui Avelar in the 80th minute. Brion Retana lost his temper 82 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The supporters of BRUGGE FC booed when Olympique Salonais was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cheng Feng didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Olympique Salonais getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Cheng Feng hit a great ball. BRUGGE FC's Petrigai Guau shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 97th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Raymond Foubert but with some difficulty. Radoslaw Zagrodny's late challenge caught a Olympique Salonais's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Radoslaw Zagrodny helped the player get up and apologised. Radoslaw Zagrodny hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the BRUGGE FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Olympique Salonais.
