Evelio Milian made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Vacid Nefer sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot 8 in the game by Vacid Nefer from a close distance when the talented Evelio Milian managed to make a qualified save. Jarana FC's players were relieved. The throw-in from Basilio Mendiko in the 10th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Club Deportivo Español's Matias Chayo. 24 minutes into the match, Jarana FC's goalkeeper Evelio Milian had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vacid Nefer. After 25 played minutes Jarana FC got a freekick which was hit by Basilio Mendiko. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vacid Nefer in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Evelio Milian saved Jarana FC from getting behind. Turgut Talha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Cavenaghi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Turgut Talha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Cavenaghi in the 32nd minute of play. After 33 minutes of play, Jarana FC's Fernando Cavenaghi made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Turgut Talha was left in no man's land by his defense there! 41 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Español's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Cavenaghi came free, but Turgut Talha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Jarana FC's Bartolo Buinton was substituted for Li Sen Ling. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bartolo Buinton to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Alfredo Sotil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Club Deportivo Español's Turgut Talha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartolo Buinton in the 65th minute of play. Turgut Talha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartolo Buinton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 82 minutes into the match, Jarana FC's Bartolo Buinton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Turgut Talha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 87th minute Bartolo Buinton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Turgut Talha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 91 minutes into the game, Alfredo Sotil was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Deportivo Español's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jarana FC the free kick. A collision led to Club Deportivo Español getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Alfredo Sotil hit a great ball. The supporters of Club Deportivo Español booed when Jarana FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basilio Mendiko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Basilio Mendiko was shown his second yellow card after 97 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Jarana FC getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Basilio Mendiko hit a great ball. When the match was over Jarana FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Club Deportivo Español throughout the match.
