In the 21st minute, Mats Liljeström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Flamengo FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Gavino Gabino came free, but Dmytro Novak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Oliverio Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramón Furtado in the 35th minute of play. Oliverio Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramón Furtado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gavino Gabino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dmytro Novak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Oliverio Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ramón Furtado in the 44th minute. In the 46th minute Gavino Gabino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dmytro Novak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ramón Furtado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dmytro Novak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 96 minutes into the game, Ramón Furtado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3.
