Unai Sócrates sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Through an outstanding action, after 20 minutes, Stefan Czeszyk successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Unai Sócrates in the 22nd minute of play forced SζλR∃ ∀Γ∀Γ ♥'s goalkeeper Stefan Czeszyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute Moise Bobeanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radamel Hendrickx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of SζλR∃ ∀Γ∀Γ ♥ booed when Fauna Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harry Maguire didn't get a good kick on the ball. Radamel Hendrickx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moise Bobeanu in the 46th minute of play. Stefan Czeszyk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Unai Sócrates, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Moise Bobeanu made the kick off in the second half. Radamel Hendrickx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moise Bobeanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Yuri Portugal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefan Czeszyk having to interfere. SζλR∃ ∀Γ∀Γ ♥'s Dominik Dudek was substituted for Federico Valverde. Unai Sócrates scored 1-1 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stefan Czeszyk, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 80 minutes into the game, Hüseyin Cahit Yanıker recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Radamel Hendrickx. Hüseyin Cahit Yanıker showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karel Cromefeldt in the 83rd minute of play forced SζλR∃ ∀Γ∀Γ ♥'s goalkeeper Stefan Czeszyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Radamel Hendrickx didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Moise Bobeanu went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Moise Bobeanu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Radamel Hendrickx having to make a save. Karel Cromefeldt hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute, SζλR∃ ∀Γ∀Γ ♥'s Moise Bobeanu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Radamel Hendrickx. Radamel Hendrickx yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. The SζλR∃ ∀Γ∀Γ ♥ players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
