In the 22nd match minute, Granatinto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Mateo to maneuver through the defense. Dan Harhoiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Desiderio Montel having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Village Saint Charles FRC's Pál Pintér slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Severiano Malvin. That made the score 2-1 after 34 minutes of play. With his leg Severiano Malvin managed to avoid a goal in the 37thth minute, when Village Saint Charles FRC's Pál Pintér fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Granatinto FC's Severiano Malvin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerasimos Tzanetakos in the 39th minute of play. Village Saint Charles FRC's Anton Busk shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 41st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Severiano Malvin but with some difficulty. Granatinto FC's Severiano Malvin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Granatinto FC from getting a goal against them. Granatinto FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gerasimos Tzanetakos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Village Saint Charles FRC fully deserved thier win.
