A throw-in in the 37th minute of the game was made by Eraldo Pompilio with Valdomiro Matos as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 44 minutes into the game, Marino Montrelle cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Ni Le Zheng was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valdomiro Matos was the one to do the kick off. Ni Le Zheng was left in no man's land by his defense there! AC Batán's Cido Cardozo was substituted for Acácio Nogueira. AC Batán's Horacio Theodore was substituted for Lautaro Martinez. AC Batán's Cristoforo Di Ruscio was substituted for José Carlos da Silveira. The corner led AC Batán's Konrad Wielkopolski to fire away a dangerous shot which João Adolfo Lago despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 94 minutes into the match, AC Batán's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Consalvi came free, but Ni Le Zheng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
