Jan Wessel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nistor Sârban in the 13th minute. The Underdogs's Jan Wessel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save The Underdogs from getting a goal against them. Jan Wessel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdulhamit Beycan in the 22nd minute of play. A throw-in in the 39th minute of the game was made by Yaroslav Svitlychnyi with Nistor Sârban as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Robin Boelens struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Erol Suer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Underdogs. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Robin Boelens made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Rega Merida CF's Erol Suer got control of the ball when Dolf Schoonderwoerd tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 63rd minute Piearres Olalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erol Suer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Underdogs's Jan Wessel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nistor Sârban in the 65th minute of play. If Nistor Sârban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rega Merida CF made a substitution. Damazy Warka replaced Abdulhamit Beycan. Rega Merida CF's Konrad Knopek was substituted for Nistor Sârban. Erol Suer was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Piearres Olalla capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Piearres Olalla really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. If Konrad Knopek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Konrad Knopek in the 80th minute of play forced The Underdogs's goalkeeper Jan Wessel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erol Suer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Piearres Olalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Damazy Warka kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The Rega Merida CF supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching The Underdogs's performance. The match ended with a win for The Underdogs.
