The referee ignored ASD Real Molinella 1911's protests and gave Fausto Tomasso a yellow card for diving instead. In the 13th match minute, ASD Real Molinella 1911 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Tomasso to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute, Denis Baeza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonas Jonas was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Denis Baeza who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Jonas Jonas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Denis Baeza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonas Jonas was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Domenico Alati charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Domenico Alati the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 45 minutes into the match, Federico Rico dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonas Jonas, 6-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Epicuro Morcego was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 50 minutes, Denis Baeza put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonas Jonas. 54 minutes into the match, ASD Real Molinella 1911's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Firmin came free, but Jonas Jonas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
