Samuel Abel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 6th minute Rickard Erserman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Selatse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samuel Abel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Elias Selatse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A sloppy throw-in by Albino Zenteno in the 16th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Deportivo Tachito's Ubaldo Inautzi. Elias Selatse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rickard Erserman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute Inter de Chillán were awarded a corner. Tobías Izamit went to the cornerflag to take it. 21 minutes into the game, Samuel Abel lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Elias Selatse. After 26 played minutes Inter de Chillán got a freekick which was hit by Albino Zenteno. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Tachito's goalkeeper Elias Selatse, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Inter de Chillán's Vatan Enfal was substituted for Rickard Erserman. In the 36th minute Deportivo Tachito were awarded a corner. Belmiro Arruda went to the cornerflag to take it. Deportivo Tachito's Belmiro Arruda was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Anton Björnberg in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Elias Selatse made an important save on a dangerous shot by Florencio Jax in the 40th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

A collision led to Inter de Chillán getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Albino Zenteno hit a great ball. Elias Selatse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vatan Enfal in the 56th minute of play. Deportivo Tachito's Fazil Gøl was substituted for Gartzen Bueno. Elias Selatse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vatan Enfal in the 65th minute of the match. Deportivo Tachito's LucaLucan Savino was substituted for Bartolo Damario. Inter de Chillán's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tobías Izamit in the 68th minute. Anton Björnberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from LucaLucan Savino in the 71st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Abel in the 73rd minute of play forced Deportivo Tachito's goalkeeper Elias Selatse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute LucaLucan Savino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anton Björnberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anton Björnberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fazil Gøl, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Anton Björnberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from LucaLucan Savino in the 84th minute of play. Elias Selatse came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Inter de Chillán's Florencio Jax. But to his dismay, Florencio Jax quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. 91 minutes into the match, Inter de Chillán's goal looked a bit too open when LucaLucan Savino came free, but Anton Björnberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Inter de Chillán had won after a very even match.
