An unexpectedly hard shot by Csaba Végvári in the 3rd minute of play forced CAN ERZURUM's goalkeeper Joar Scheie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aybars Demirci hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Márton Horváth didn't quite understand what happened when in the 6 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. 10 minutes into the match, CAN ERZURUM's goal looked a bit too open when Kálmán Gácsi came free, but Joar Scheie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute, Sven-Olof Vestlund reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of György Tóth. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Berni FC's goalkeeper György Tóth, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. György Tóth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Olof Vestlund in the 16th minute of the match. A collision led to CAN ERZURUM getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Aybars Demirci hit a great ball. After 18 played minutes Berni FC got a freekick which was hit by András Selymes. Sven-Olof Vestlund received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. György Tóth came out and tried to block the shot, but Sven-Olof Vestlund slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 20th minute. In the 23rd minute Kálmán Gácsi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joar Scheie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joar Scheie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kálmán Gácsi in the 28th minute of the match. When Berni FC's Kálmán Gácsi in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. If Pan Wei Quan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sven-Olof Vestlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. György Tóth made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sven-Olof Vestlund in the 41st minute. Joar Scheie stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kálmán Gácsi's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Csaba Végvári to make the kick off. Joar Scheie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kálmán Gácsi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joar Scheie made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Kálmán Gácsi sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Márton Horváth got free with Joar Scheie in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. CAN ERZURUM made a substitution. Arda Turan replaced Birkan Kayra. In the 87th minute, Seyhun Orus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 90 minutes into the match, Berni FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Olof Vestlund came free, but György Tóth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
