After a defensive mix-up in Perugorría's zone, Ronaldinho Gaucho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciriaco Matxin came out of the goal and Ronaldinho Gaucho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ronaldinho Gaucho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ciriaco Matxin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Ciriaco Matxin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ramon Hunfredo in the 10th minute. Ronaldinho Gaucho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ciriaco Matxin having to make a save. Ernesto Manuelo charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ernesto Manuelo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldinho Gaucho in the 19th minute of play forced Perugorría's goalkeeper Ciriaco Matxin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute Ronaldinho Gaucho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciriaco Matxin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronaldinho Gaucho might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ciriaco Matxin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After 62 minutes of play, Büyükada Commandos's Ronaldinho Gaucho made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ciriaco Matxin was left in no man's land by his defense there! 66 minutes into the match, Umur Eroğlu notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Perugorría's Ciriaco Matxin. Ciriaco Matxin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hipolito Mel made in the 71st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Humberto Mirande. Büyükada Commandos's Hüseyin Turan Esay got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 75th minute, Hüseyin Turan Esay made a precise shot to the right of Ciriaco Matxin. Perugorría's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. When Hipolito Mel fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Perugorría's protests and gave Hipolito Mel a yellow card for diving instead. After some careless play in the Perugorría defense, Hüseyin Turan Esay kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ciriaco Matxin. The Perugorría fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ciriaco Matxin should have stopped the shot. In the 82nd minute, one of Perugorría:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Perugorría. 86 minutes into the match, Perugorría's goal looked a bit too open when Hüseyin Turan Esay came free, but Ciriaco Matxin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute, Hüseyin Turan Esay ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ciriaco Matxin was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. 90 minutes into the match, Hüseyin Turan Esay had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ciriaco Matxin. Perugorría's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hüseyin Turan Esay was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. Umur Eroğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Ciriaco Matxin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 97th minute, Hüseyin Turan Esay made a precise shot to the right of Ciriaco Matxin. Perugorría's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-0. There was no doubt that Büyükada Commandos were the better team. Büyükada Commandos's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
