The audience thought a goal was coming when Piara Santo got free with Hugo Blomqvist in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 87th minute, Waitakere F.C.'s Piara Santo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. In the 92nd minute, Magnus Runeberg made a precise shot to the right of Marcos Burni. Waitakere F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 97 minutes into the match, Waitakere F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Magnus Runeberg came free, but Marcos Burni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
