Limburg United's Hendrik Herremans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miladin Bikarski in the 15th minute of play. After some careless play in the Maritza defense, Fredrik Terwenhout kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Danail Mitzakov. The Maritza fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Danail Mitzakov should have stopped the shot. With his leg Hendrik Herremans managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Maritza's Marin Nikolkov fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 24 minutes into the match, Jason Jonckers had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Danail Mitzakov. Maritza's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jason Jonckers was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Zeng Jing Yue received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Hendrik Herremans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the game, Zeng Jing Yue was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maritza's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Limburg United the free kick. Danail Mitzakov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jason Jonckers in the 30th minute of the match. A collision led to Maritza getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Miladin Bikarski hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the match, Zeng Jing Yue dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hendrik Herremans, 2-2. Marin Nikolkov received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hendrik Herremans came out and tried to block the shot, but Marin Nikolkov slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 40th minute. Hendrik Herremans stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zeng Jing Yue's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. 45 minutes into the match, Maritza's Zeng Jing Yue sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hendrik Herremans narrowly saved just below the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

51 minutes into the match, Limburg United's goal looked a bit too open when Zeng Jing Yue came free, but Hendrik Herremans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 51 minutes into the game, Zeng Jing Yue cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Hendrik Herremans was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jason Jonckers's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Danail Mitzakov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Maritza's Zoltán Hubina got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hendrik Herremans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zoltán Hubina in the 62nd minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Limburg United's goal looked a bit too open when Zoltán Hubina came free, but Hendrik Herremans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hendrik Herremans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeng Jing Yue, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After 71 minutes Limburg United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Feliks Chwalkiewicz who took care of the corner kick. Limburg United's Hendrik Herremans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marin Nikolkov in the 77th minute of play. After 79 minutes Limburg United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Feliks Chwalkiewicz who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Maritza's Miladin Bikarski to fire away a dangerous shot which Hendrik Herremans despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Limburg United's Hendrik Herremans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeng Jing Yue in the 81st minute of play. After 84 minutes Limburg United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Feliks Chwalkiewicz who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Maritza's corner Feliks Chwalkiewicz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hendrik Herremans quite easily take care of the ball. Jason Jonckers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Danail Mitzakov made a huge save. Limburg United's Hendrik Herremans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zoltán Hubina in the 90th minute of play. Maritza's Zoltán Hubina managed to work through Limburg United's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Zoltán Hubina dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Jason Jonckers struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Danail Mitzakov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Limburg United. For all the effort they put into the match, the Limburg United players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Maritza.
