In the 3rd minute Arévalo Miñaca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximiliano Tab saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Carlos Ospetsu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Svetlozar Platikanov charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Svetlozar Platikanov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Geležinis Vilkas's Svetlozar Platikanov got a free kick in the 7th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Geležinis Vilkas's Arévalo Miñaca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maximiliano Tab narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 15 played minutes Sinbosteros got a freekick which was hit by Saul Inge. After having played for 16 minutes, Arévalo Miñaca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Geležinis Vilkas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arévalo Miñaca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 18 minutes into the match, Geležinis Vilkas's Arévalo Miñaca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maximiliano Tab narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Carlos Ospetsu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arne Rusterholz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. After 22 minutes Geležinis Vilkas's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Samuel Jakobe who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Sinbosteros's corner Samuel Jakobe fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Arne Rusterholz quite easily take care of the ball. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Geležinis Vilkas's goalkeeper Arne Rusterholz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Maximiliano Tab came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Geležinis Vilkas's Arévalo Miñaca. But to his dismay, Arévalo Miñaca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Arévalo Miñaca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Maximiliano Tab showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arévalo Miñaca, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After some careless play in the Sinbosteros defense, Arévalo Miñaca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maximiliano Tab. The Sinbosteros fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maximiliano Tab should have stopped the shot. Saul Inge made in the 39th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Geležinis Vilkas's Gabrielius Velička. If Arévalo Miñaca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arévalo Miñaca blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maximiliano Tab having to make a save. After some careless play in the Sinbosteros defense, Arévalo Miñaca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maximiliano Tab. The Sinbosteros fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maximiliano Tab should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The corner led Geležinis Vilkas's Arévalo Miñaca to fire away a dangerous shot which Maximiliano Tab despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Arévalo Miñaca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Maximiliano Tab made a huge save. 60 minutes into the match, Sinbosteros's goal looked a bit too open when Arévalo Miñaca came free, but Maximiliano Tab reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Geležinis Vilkas's Arne Rusterholz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uriel Mikeldi in the 64th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Sinbosteros's zone, Arévalo Miñaca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximiliano Tab came out of the goal and Arévalo Miñaca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sinbosteros made a substitution. Hector Urko replaced Vicente Eyague. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Ospetsu in the 68th minute of play forced Geležinis Vilkas's goalkeeper Arne Rusterholz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Arévalo Miñaca made a precise shot to the right of Maximiliano Tab. Sinbosteros's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. 74 minutes into the match, Geležinis Vilkas's Arévalo Miñaca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maximiliano Tab narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Arne Rusterholz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eloy Laffitte, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Maximiliano Tab didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arévalo Miñaca went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Maximiliano Tab showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arévalo Miñaca in the 86th minute of the match. Maximiliano Tab came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Geležinis Vilkas's Arévalo Miñaca. But to his dismay, Arévalo Miñaca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. The Geležinis Vilkas supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Geležinis Vilkas would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
