An unexpectedly hard shot by Géza Tótfalusi in the 22nd minute of play forced Swansea City AFC's goalkeeper Ahmet Necdet Razi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marius Prestin made in the 26th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Harun Mustafa however managed to control. Cristinel Tomulescu was a little too slow when Jakub Moder got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 34th minute, Jakub Moder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Anton Pototskiy came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Green Zombies fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anton Pototskiy couldn't finish the play. Jakub Moder could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Cristinel Tomulescu made a huge save. The audience was convinced that André Luiz Meireles's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristinel Tomulescu was relentless in the 80th minute of the game.
