Franciszek Rasimowicz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Diedrik Nys came out and tried to block the shot, but Franciszek Rasimowicz slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 5th minute. Camillo Tullo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gwidon Kapelski went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Warmia Grajewo's Camillo Tullo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gwidon Kapelski in the 12th minute of play. In the 16th match minute, Warmia Grajewo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franciszek Czempa to maneuver through the defense. Franciszek Czempa charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Franciszek Czempa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 17 minutes into the game, one of Warmia Grajewo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 21 minutes into the match, São Petersburgo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kurt Kaszubik came free, but Diedrik Nys reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. São Petersburgo FC's Dino de Souza got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Warmia Grajewo's zone, Hamílton Galvão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Camillo Tullo came out of the goal and Hamílton Galvão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Toni Godinho fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored São Petersburgo FC's protests and gave Toni Godinho a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Warmia Grajewo booed when São Petersburgo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toni Godinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute, Warmia Grajewo's Kurt Kaszubik dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Dino de Souza might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Camillo Tullo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dino de Souza ran back to his position shaking his head. Dino de Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 45 minutes into the match, São Petersburgo FC's goalkeeper Diedrik Nys had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kurt Kaszubik. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gwidon Kapelski to make the kick off. In the 72ndth minute of the game Gwidon Kapelski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Warmia Grajewo's Camillo Tullo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 74th minute Hamílton Galvão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camillo Tullo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Kurt Kaszubik managed to get in a good position for a shot. Warmia Grajewo's supporters rose to their feet, but Kurt Kaszubik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diedrik Nys breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kurt Kaszubik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Diedrik Nys showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kurt Kaszubik, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After 93 minutes, Kurt Kaszubik mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Warmia Grajewo and the São Petersburgo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 93rd minute, Kurt Kaszubik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 96 minutes into the match, Kurt Kaszubik notched a goal, 3-6, to the right of São Petersburgo FC's Diedrik Nys. Diedrik Nys was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. São Petersburgo FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
