Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Nickolaj Nickerson started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Paulin Sequeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nickolaj Nickerson in the 5th minute of the match. In the 5th minute Nickolaj Nickerson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulin Sequeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vanadio F.C.'s Paulin Sequeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nickolaj Nickerson in the 9th minute of play. If Servando Ariztimuño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Saku Villanen got free with Paulin Sequeiros in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vanadio F.C.'s Paulin Sequeiros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Vanadio F.C. from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nickolaj Nickerson got free with Paulin Sequeiros in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 17 minutes Vanadio F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Toma Drashanski who took care of the corner kick. After 20 played minutes Vanadio F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Gordon Suarez. Nickolaj Nickerson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulin Sequeiros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, FC Pirates's goal looked a bit too open when Gordon Suarez came free, but Ognyan Pironkov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gordon Suarez in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ognyan Pironkov saved FC Pirates from getting behind. Ognyan Pironkov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gordon Suarez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gordon Suarez took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ognyan Pironkov. Ognyan Pironkov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Gordon Suarez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ognyan Pironkov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. The supporters of Vanadio F.C. booed when FC Pirates was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matey Bochkov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gordon Suarez to make the kick off. Ognyan Pironkov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gordon Suarez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Gordon Suarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ognyan Pironkov made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Gordon Suarez sent off a good shot on target. Paulin Sequeiros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nickolaj Nickerson's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Ognyan Pironkov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gordon Suarez, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Vanadio F.C.'s goalkeeper Paulin Sequeiros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 74 minutes, Ognyan Pironkov successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to FC Pirates getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Toma Drashanski hit a great ball. FC Pirates made a substitution. Peter Flaa replaced Nickolaj Nickerson. In the 78th match minute, FC Pirates was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toma Drashanski to maneuver through the defense. Leizarraga Olmedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leizarraga Olmedo in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ognyan Pironkov saved FC Pirates from getting behind. In the 84th minute, Toma Drashanski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Gordon Suarez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ognyan Pironkov was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Gaspar Rocio hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. After 94 minutes Vanadio F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Toma Drashanski who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Toma Drashanski got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Paulin Sequeiros quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ognyan Pironkov made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Leizarraga Olmedo sent off a good shot on target. In the 96th match minute, FC Pirates was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toshko Dzhorgov to maneuver through the defense. The Vanadio F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Vanadio F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
