The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ignacy Ciechocki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Vítor Barros in the 2nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Washington Demartis in the 6th minute of play forced FC Saxon's goalkeeper Ignacy Ciechocki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute Adriano Cardozo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignacy Ciechocki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milosz Flis in the 11th minute of play forced Countdown FC's goalkeeper Er Miner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adriano Cardozo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ignacy Ciechocki having to make a save. 25 minutes into the match, FC Saxon's goal looked a bit too open when João Vítor Barros came free, but Ignacy Ciechocki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Countdown FC's Er Miner got control of the ball when Jan Nowacki tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tadeusz Siekierka who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Er Miner when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Countdown FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Antoni Bubczyk scored to the left of an out of position Er Miner, making the score, 1-0. Er Miner made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Jan Nowacki sent off a good shot on target. Dorival Tróia kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. The supporters of Countdown FC booed when FC Saxon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kajetan Rukszcz didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Saxon were furious when Milosz Marciewicz was red carded, 46 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After a rather tough play, FC Saxon's Milosz Marciewicz got a free kick in the 47th minute. In the 49th minute, Milosz Marciewicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dida Carioca in the 50th minute of play forced FC Saxon's goalkeeper Ignacy Ciechocki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Ignacy Ciechocki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Washington Demartis in the 57th minute. FC Saxon's Ignacy Ciechocki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save FC Saxon from getting a goal against them. 63 minutes into the match, Countdown FC's goal looked a bit too open when Antoni Bubczyk came free, but Er Miner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Saxon's goalkeeper Ignacy Ciechocki, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 67 minutes into the match, FC Saxon's goalkeeper Ignacy Ciechocki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rubinho da Silveira. 70 minutes into the match, Countdown FC's goal looked a bit too open when Antoni Bubczyk came free, but Er Miner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute of the match FC Saxon got a corner. Countdown FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Karol Gendolla ran over to the corner to take the kick. Antoni Bubczyk was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After a rather tough play, FC Saxon's Antoni Bubczyk got a free kick in the 71st minute. After having played for 80 minutes, Tadeusz Siekierka managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Saxon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tadeusz Siekierka was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Antoni Bubczyk struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Er Miner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Saxon. When Radowit Bycofski came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the FC Saxon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Radowit Bycofski couldn't finish the play. 89 minutes into the match, Countdown FC's goal looked a bit too open when Antoni Bubczyk came free, but Er Miner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ignacy Ciechocki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of João Vítor Barros's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. 94 minutes into the match, FC Saxon's goalkeeper Ignacy Ciechocki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adriano Cardozo. For all the effort they put into the match, the Countdown FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Saxon.
