Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Roni Coryn took the kick off in the first half of the match. Arnoud Van Gestel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Bacardi FC's Leo Dauwen got control of the ball when Wen Ke Yan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Muhammad Chan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eeng Kuswanto's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Leo Dauwen was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jonathan Siong showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. Leo Dauwen made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Wen Ke Yan sent off a good shot on target. Muhammad Chan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roni Coryn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute Arnoud Van Gestel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Muhammad Chan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 23 played minutes Stars got a freekick which was hit by Cláudio Botelho. With an all-out effort, Stars's Leo Dauwen threw himself towards the right post 25 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cláudio Botelho, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Leo Dauwen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cláudio Botelho in the 28th minute of play. Muhammad Chan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roni Coryn, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. When Jonathan Siong came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Stars fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonathan Siong couldn't finish the play. 37 minutes into the match, Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Roni Coryn came free, but Muhammad Chan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Bacardi FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Arnoud Van Gestel hit a great ball. Muhammad Chan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roni Coryn, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 42nd minute, Stars's Jonathan Siong dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonathan Siong stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes, Bacardi FC's Arnoud Van Gestel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Muhammad Chan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bacardi FC reached it. Bacardi FC's Roni Coryn got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leo Dauwen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cláudio Botelho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 55 minutes Bacardi FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Claudinei Damião who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Bacardi FC's goalie and right to Abilio Pages. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Bacardi FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The audience was convinced that Wen Ke Yan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leo Dauwen was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Arnoud Van Gestel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Muhammad Chan made a huge save. The supporters of Bacardi FC booed when Stars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abilio Pages didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th match minute, Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Khai Chuan to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute, Mikael Månsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89thth minute of the game Roni Coryn who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stars's Muhammad Chan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 90th minute Cláudio Botelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Dauwen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the game, Rudy Chandran cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Leo Dauwen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
