The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Yu Ming Nan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marin Nikolkov in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 5th minute, Zeng Jing Yue got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tombolo Wa Kadima De Reckheim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zeng Jing Yue in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yu Ming Nan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 12 minutes into the match, SC Duisburg 2012's goal looked a bit too open when Nencho Markovski came free, but Yu Ming Nan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Maritza getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Zeng Jing Yue hit a great ball. After some careless play in the SC Duisburg 2012 defense, Zeng Jing Yue kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yu Ming Nan. The SC Duisburg 2012 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yu Ming Nan should have stopped the shot. Donny Wolf hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Zeng Jing Yue struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Yu Ming Nan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maritza. Feliks Chwalkiewicz made in the 29th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Pavlin Dzhegalski however managed to control. Sonny Tirtana kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Danail Mitzakov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jordi Meijering went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Donny Wolf hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. If Zeng Jing Yue had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute, Marin Nikolkov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 44th minute, Zeng Jing Yue hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute Tombolo Wa Kadima De Reckheim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danail Mitzakov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Danail Mitzakov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tombolo Wa Kadima De Reckheim went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 47th match minute, SC Duisburg 2012 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jordi Meijering to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Tombolo Wa Kadima De Reckheim made the kick off in the second half. If Jordi Meijering had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute, Zoltán Hubina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SC Duisburg 2012's Ab Surdo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 57th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Maritza. 61 minutes into the match, SC Duisburg 2012's goalkeeper Yu Ming Nan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nencho Markovski. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marin Nikolkov in the 62nd minute of play forced SC Duisburg 2012's goalkeeper Yu Ming Nan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th match minute, SC Duisburg 2012 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sonny Tirtana to maneuver through the defense. Pavlin Dzhegalski struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Maritza's zone, Tombolo Wa Kadima De Reckheim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danail Mitzakov came out of the goal and Tombolo Wa Kadima De Reckheim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Marin Nikolkov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maritza's supporters rose to their feet, but Marin Nikolkov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yu Ming Nan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. SC Duisburg 2012's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
