Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) 16 minutes into the match, Sinsin's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Wennerberg came free, but Bavo Van Eeckhout reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Jürgen Trittin put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Bavo Van Eeckhout. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jürgen Trittin in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bavo Van Eeckhout prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Jürgen Trittin sped through Sinsin's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bavo Van Eeckhout. In the 38th minute, Emanuel Vanooteghem reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alvar Arvidsson. The goal made the score 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Emanuel Vanooteghem made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Dimitri Van Gestel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Sinsin's Bavo Van Eeckhout got control of the ball when Şenel Zeval tried to sneak it across the goal line. Garry Clijsters's late challenge caught a Kattvik kings's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Garry Clijsters helped the player get up and apologised. Kattvik kings made a substitution. Linus Stenström replaced Jan Wennerberg. Bavo Van Eeckhout took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jürgen Trittin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Kattvik kings booed when Sinsin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dimitri Van Gestel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bavo Van Eeckhout made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jürgen Trittin in the 67th minute of play. Bavo Van Eeckhout made an important save on a dangerous shot by John Bratt in the 70th minute. After 72 minutes Sinsin's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Şenel Zeval who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Şenel Zeval got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bavo Van Eeckhout quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Sinsin's Bavo Van Eeckhout proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Sinsin from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when John Bratt got free with Bavo Van Eeckhout in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dominick Weijnandts was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 75 minutes into the match. 75 minutes into the game, one of Sinsin:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Bavo Van Eeckhout, was totally fooled by Kattvik kings's John Bratt, who 76 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 80th minute, Jürgen Trittin fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Bavo Van Eeckhout, passed just outside the right post. Bavo Van Eeckhout made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jürgen Trittin in the 84th minute of play. Bavo Van Eeckhout showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şenel Zeval, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. With an all-out effort, Kattvik kings's Bavo Van Eeckhout threw himself towards the right post 96 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jürgen Trittin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 97th minute Kattvik kings were awarded a corner. Şenel Zeval went to the cornerflag to take it. Kattvik kings's Şenel Zeval was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bavo Van Eeckhout in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The Kattvik kings supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kattvik kings would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
