All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

If Reno Wilmots had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brazilio Butt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reno Wilmots, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Jerry Jonasson took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Garibaldo Quijana to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of DIF LEEDS BK booed when Fillos de Breogán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogelio Rogalnikov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
