When Qiao Qing Xiao came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the CD Boiro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Qiao Qing Xiao couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgar Figari got free with Yngve Fredriksson in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 41st minute, CD Boiro's Qiao Qing Xiao ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Yngve Fredriksson. Yngve Fredriksson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Djurgårdens IF's Yngve Fredriksson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Djurgårdens IF from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Jörgen Ekberg kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Karl-Åke Termander didn't have the luck on his side when he, from a short distance, got a opportunity for a shot on goal in the 57th minute. The shot missed the goal on the right side and Karl-Åke Termander ran dejectedly back to his position. In the 60th minute, Andoitz Arias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute, Djurgårdens IF's Karl-Åke Termander dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. The throw-in from Andoitz Arias in the 78th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Djurgårdens IF's Tobias Pettersson. The supporters of CD Boiro booed when Djurgårdens IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Vinström didn't get a good kick on the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Djurgårdens IF's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Figari came free, but Yngve Fredriksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andoitz Arias hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. CD Boiro were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Djurgårdens IF to leave the ground with a draw.
